ABOUT OUR CLINIC
College View Veterinary Clinic is our wellness satellite of Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital. College View was established in 1983 and from then on we have committed to practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
​Our philosophy and core values are to provide the highest quality medical care to our patients in facilities that are clean, pleasant, and equipped with the latest and best medical equipment and technology. We strive to create generational relationships with our clients by combining the best medical care with the most comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for both our patients and our clients. Our clients and patients become our extended family!
Communicating with our clients on a personal level has always been one of the bedrocks of our practice's success. We have the highest standards for our staff and have always sought the most intelligent, motivated, kind and empathetic employees. We continually strive to implement and improve upon the standards set forth by AAHA, the AVMA, and our state examining board.
OUR SERVICES
Sick & Emergency
We are not a full service hospital but can handle certain non healthy visits or refer you over to JVH.
Behavior
Our doctors can perform a behavioral consult and help recommend further steps.
Microchipping
Microchipping helps ensure that you can be reunited with your pet if they go missing.
Hospice & Euthanasia
We offer options for end of life care and allow you to be with your pet until the end. We have an outside company that offers cremation.
Nutrition
We carry Purina and Royal Canin Veterinary Prescription Diets.
Pharmacy
We have a full pharmacy in house and work with a compounding pharmacy to make sure we have or can order the medication your pet may need.
Pain Management
We are very attentive to pain indicators in pets and have various options for management
Laboratory
Our in house laboratory capabilities consist of complete blood work and microscopy.
We have multiple outside laboratories we work with for any tests we cannot run in house.
Pet Travel
Our USDA certified veterinarian will work with you for your pet's travel needs.
Wellness & Vaccinations
The most important part of a pet's care are routine wellness visits.
For canines we offer Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus/Adenovirus/Parainfluenza, Bordetella, Influenza, Leptospirosis, and Lyme vaccines.
For felines we offer Rabies, Leukemia, and Rhinotracheitis/calicivirus/ panleukopenia vaccines.
Laser Therapy
We have an in house therapeutic laser. We use it on all applicable surgeries and offer packages for other treatments.
Chronic Disease Care
We will attentively follow your pet's care needs throughout their disease process.
Parasite Prevention
Internal and external parasite prevention are extremely important in this area.
We offer multiple options for prevention.
